Open Jobs at Back to the Roots
We are a growing Team of people who all together care for this work intense project in our freetime, but we always search people who help us doing remaining jobs which noone in the team got time for so far. Note that back2roots is a fun project, we are not able to pay you for your work, you become a team member and your work is getting high audience, that's all we can do for you.
Here is a list of currently open jobs:

Webdir:   research, database work, logo uploads
For our entire Webdir we search a maintainer, who crawls the web for interesting Amiga and Emulation related sites to add them to our database. This includes collecting logos for each entry and searching for new URLs of all Dead-Links in our database.

Games >> Emerald:   rating + database work
For extending our games directory we search a Boulderdash friend who is interested in rating all 230 Emerald Mines and Boulderdash clones which we have online here with three 0-100% values for Graphics, Music and Fun, to store the result in the database.

Tools >> Emu:   research, database work, zip + screenshot uploads
For the Emulation subsection of our Tools section we search someone who's familiar with the output of the emulation scene and who monitors releases of all Amiga Emulators and relating tools for all platforms to add them to the database and the archive.

Disks:   research, database work, zip + screenshot uploads
For extending our disks section we always search people who catalog new disk series into the database and archive (zillions of disks in the queue). This includes testsing each disk with recent Amiga emulators and taking and uploading a screenshot for each disk.

Disks >> Docs:   research, database work, text uploads
For an upcoming manuals section we search someone who looks up the entire content of all docs disks which we have online here and creates a database entry for each document which is not yet present in the Cheats section and uploads the unpacked texts.

Disks >> Games:   research, game tests, database work, screenshot uploads
For extending our games directory we search someone who looks up the entire content of all games disks which we have online here and creates a database entry for each game which is not yet present in the Games section, who also does tests with recent Amiga emulators and who takes and uploads screenshots of each title.

Pics >> Cardsets:   rating + database work
For our cardsets section we search a solitaire friend who reviews all REKO cardsets and rates them 0-100% and stores the result in the database. Besides that we search someone who is interested in reviewing and rating all erotic cardsets, to mask out possible porn. We can provide you overview graphics in jpg or png format containing all cards of each cardset to simplify that job.

More to come soon...
to be continued as we get time to write things down ;-)
