| What we in turn expect from you: |
The cooperation we have in mind is that your file collection (if not already present) should also be contributed to the main archive, same as you can link our main archive into your project. By this we can grow bigger together, and BTTR will not kill existing work but power it.
Same as any host in the world we have some hosting rules, which are not meant to take your freedom, but to make this place a stable home, which we all benefit most from. From our host we have these hosting rules:
- We all must have legal content, so no warez here, no matter how old they are.
- All sites must be nonprofit, so no sales, ebay, amazon etc here. Documenting products is permitted.
- No advertising is permitted on our site (this is more an advantage than a restriction)
Besides this we like freedom of speech, while being nice netizens all, we all are Amiga, Commodore, emulation and/or scene friends, no matter what color, skin, religion, political system or platform we prefer. Such topics should be discussed elsewhere. This is a peaceful place and we want it to stay like that.
So if you're no troublemaker you're welcome and we just ask you to:
- Link from a prominent place at your front page to your host back2roots.org, same as we do with ours.
- Provide us a working email address so we could contact you if there should be questions.
- Keep us informed when you get a new email address. We have no time to poll your site for this.
- Do not share your ftp account with others. Ask for further ones if you grow a team.
Besides this we all work hand in hand and try to be helpful to each other wherever possible. |
