"Where do you want to play Golf today?"

With these words we'd like to welcome you to our latest update, here at BTTR. Probably this slogan sounds familiar to most of you as it is more or less the slogan of Bill Gates' company Microsoft. We should ask ourselves too, if Microsoft is interested in supporting Amiga lovers today. Luckily we can answer this question with "Yes, they are!"

Games:
In a surprising move (after more than two years of patience) we received permission from the Windows company for uploading some Amiga games which were developed by Access Software. Access Software is part of the giant Microsoft empire for some time now and was just renamed to Salt Lake Games. They've developed some of the best golf simulation games. Especially the "Links" series is well known worldwide.

Before "Links" will come online, we'd like to give you some older golf games from Access Software. Games placed extremely high in the list of games which have written history. We're talking about Leaderboard and World Class Leaderboard, so enjoy them. From other companies you can download Air Bucks (AGA), Guardian, Hugo 3, Mixed-up Mother Goose, Platou, Realms, Thexder, Fußball Total, mission disks for Vroom and Fighter Bomber and lots of other ADF games and HD versions.

Demos:
Let's start todays demo show with a new production from Spaceballs. It's called Hideous Mutant Freaks, is an ECS demo and has been released a couple of weeks ago. For an old A500 machine it features stunning effects. Truly amazing! There's much more oldskool stuff available: Damage from Old Bulls, the Digital Concert series, Gate Megademo or Golem's Slidehow to name just a few.

The AGA demos section now contains 2001 stuff from Haujobb (Bizarre Love Triangle), Iris (Abecedarian), The Black Lotus (GBG) as well as some older stuff from Passion, Tulou or Ladybird Design.

40 cool PC demos are online now to give your 3D card something to play with. The most interesting productions are Sinum from T-Rex, Anytime from the Lost Souls, Miracle from Addict, Nature V2.0 from Threepixels and White noise can't jump from Alien Prophets. Also it's nice to see that many old DOS demos are converted to Windows. Doomsday is one of the groups who did that job for their old demo masterpieces. Grab your copy of the Win32 ports of brilliant demos like Boost, Electroniks or Off immediately!
Oh, and people who are in love should watch Dreams from FreshMindworkz. What a sweet 64k intro!

Music:
Big music updates with lots of files became normal during the last months for BTTR. Even this time 100 new files were uploaded. Mainly stuff from allmighty musicians like Lizardking, Distance, Awesome, Heatbeat, Captain, Dizzy, Deck or Djam, but also brand new tunes from Goober, Booster among others. 20 new Chip-Music are online, too. RTS and Lesnik composed most of them. Also we'd like to thank Laxical for sending us some of his latest, excellent sounding chippy's!

Additional stuff:
Thanks to Rykion, you now can download a save disk for Abandoned Places 2. We once againd would like to thank Andreas Eibach for sending us a fixed version of Lords of War.

And always remember: If you'd like to get notified when BTTR is updated, please sign up or news-letter! You can find the subscription form in our "About" section.

That's it for today. Have fun.
yours Bobic & Hippie2000
