Andrew Campbell was one of the most prolific and well known people of the UK licence- and shareware scene during the second half of the last decade in the 20th century. His greatest success, the Dawn games, were mainly distributed by 5th Dimension Licenceware and F1 Licenceware. It is unbelievable that these games were written in AMOS, as technically they are so brilliant. In any of the Dawn games there is a 3D landscape as seen in many RPGs. You can navigate your character by clicking on arrows. You can collect equipment like keys and weapons which can be used to open doors and fight the monsters. By finding the exit or fulfilling orders you can proceed to further dungeons and lands. Again it has to be said that the Dawn series for which also Shaun Watters created some episodes was the most popular licenceware games series in the United Kingdom and maybe also in the whole world!
But Mr. Campbell created some more stuff except the Dawn saga. One of them is the puzzle game Pollymorf. It is your job to put together two or three balls with the same colour so that they will dissolve. There is an enormous time pressure and (only) 5 attempts won't make that game easier.
As soon as the magician leaves the house White Rabbits get out of his cylinder and try to flee from the magic workshop. But the escape is not an easy one. There are many chunks which barricade the way to the exit. Some of them can only be moved to certain directions, others cannot be moved at all and at certain places where the magician has set up his magical equipment it is even dangerous for those small animals. You have to pay great attention to enable the rabbits to find the right way.
These are only some of the great masters games. Don't miss to get the others too!
