Apache Software - Company Review:
Projects:
Apache Software
was a small developing and publishing company in the UK. They produced two Amiga games:
Super Methane Brothers
was probably the best Bubble Bobble clone for the Amiga. It has more than 100 levels full of puzzles. The enemies are fiendish and intelligent. Of course there are many extras in this title like traps and bonus rooms. Apache's second game was
Death Mask
which was published by Alternative. This title was one of the first 3D shooters for the Amiga. It was not very playable but quite brutal. This is the reason why it did not get reviews which were as good as the Super Methane tests.
We would like to thank Patricia Curtis who was project manager and co-programmer of
Super Methane Brothers
and Mark Page who was the main programmer of these titles.
