Datel Electronics - Coder Review:
Projects:
Datel Electronics
is the world leader in equipment for consoles. The successful story of the company began already in 1983 when they produced tape drives, input devices and much more for the Sinclair Spectrum and Commodore 64. On the Amiga their most famous tool was the
Action Replay
- a system which allows you to manipulate the whole Amiga. Some features are ripping of sounds and graphics, freezer mode and decreasing the speed of the Amiga. Also
Syncro Express II
was a very cool chip for the Amiga which speeds up copying disks. There was not much software from this firm but their copy tool
Burstnibbler
and the music program
Sample Studio
were state of the art at the time they were released.
Now
Datel Electronics
is producing additional hardware for consoles like the Playstation 2. Their
Cheat Box
is a tool which is used by thousands of gamers.
