Extralife
Extralife - CD Review:Samples:
No, no, no! That's not another boring collection of Public Domain and Freeware games. This one is different and has a lot more than the others!!!

Well, on this CD you can find the 200 best Public Domain and Freeware games, which were ever made for the Amiga. Games which are making a lot of fun, which will attract you for months to your computer and very often these diamonds are in commercial quality!

For 040/060 users is this CD really a treasure, because all games were fixed for these Amigas, will run directly from the CD and were selected carefully in different drawers (Arcade, Adventure, Classic, Platform, Puzzle, Racing, Shoot 'em Up and Workbench categories ). Emulator users can use this CD without any problems too. Also addons, which were released for some games, are part of this CD as well as the original archives. Some games are also fixed to even run under B/CVision and only the best games were put onto this CD, no shovelware!!!

If you won't believe me, please have a look to the right, where you can download some game examples, which can be found on this CD. Lord of Alcandria 2, which is a perfect Adventure game like Monkey Island. Battle Craft - an unbelievable good Warcraft 2 clone for the Amiga! Rise of the Rabbits 2 a cute Jump 'n Run game. Muscarine - Erica's Trip, another fantastic adventure game. Blitz Bombers, the best Dynablaster clone, which was ever made for the Amiga. Deluxe Galaga - the most famous Galaga clone of all time. Aerial Racers, probably the best Freeware Skidmarks clone or Assimilation, an arcade like Shoot 'em up game. And many more masterpieces!

Darkage has made a fantastic job in compiling this CD and if you want to know more about this company, please have a look at the Darkage Review, which is available here and which contains also a very intersting interview with the managing director Paolo D'Urso as well as other useful informations about the actual commercial games, which Darkage will release soon as well as infos about their history and their future!
