In 1990 ITE - Interactive Television Entertainment - started with it's first interactive television show in Denmark and after this big success this company has grown very fast and is now one of Denmarks' leading multimedia companies. ITE Media is the games division of Interactive Television Entertainment and has brought the famous Hugo TV show to our Amiga screens in the mid nineties and two Hugo games were released for the Amiga system.
Since 1998 they're producing TV show games also on other platforms like Playstation and Game Boy. Hugo 2 was the best selling Game Boy title in 1998 in Germany and on the PSX system, the action-adventures Hugo, Hugo 2 and Hugo and the Kikurean Sunstones are available.
Most titles were produced for PC CD-Rom and of course many Hugo titles are available for this system too. At the moment ITE Media has six titles with the little troll available and every game features various sub-games. The Stinky & Beaver and Thomas & Tim games are other action-adventures with cool comic graphics.
But on the PC are not only action-adventures available. ITE Media released also some educational puzzle adventures like The Bewitched Roller Coaster, The Magic Journey and The Magic Oak and again Hugo is the star of each title. Interactive advent calendars with the Hugo character were released for the PC too (Hugo saves Christmas, Scylla's Revenge).
