Part:Second
Part:Second - CD Review:Cover / Track list:
Did you hear Aural Planet's first album Lightflow already? If I would say that this music CD is an impressive CD, than it would sound like a lie. It's more than impressive. It's perfect, a masterpiece! A milestone in the history of music CDs which were composed and created by people from the demo-scene.

In early 2000 Aural Planet released their second album, entitled Part:Second. The band has grown, because beside the founding members Scorpik, KeyG and Falcon, Radoslaw "Raiden" Kochman is now part of the team, too.
The new CD is currently being played in my CD-player and I'm unsure at the moment, if my feet should start to dance, or if I should sit down and rest for a while and should try to get a clear mind. It's not easy to listen to Part:Second when you're such a deep heart lover of the ambient sounds of Aural Planet's Lightflow CD.

Aural Planet have changed their music-style. With Part:Second they want to show us their creativity, their talent in composing music in different styles than ambient. This time they've decided to make an album full of music in Goa-Trance-style. Fast, dynamic, powerful beats and sequences which will club-people make totally crazy and addicted to dance.

Do you like music from scene-productions like the fabulous intros Stash or Please the cookie thing? Then you will love the music of Part:Second even more and shouldn't wait any longer for ordering this CD. If you're not sure if this kind of music is something for your ears, I suggest you to download those intros mentioned above and to listen to their music. Then you'll have a good overview about what Goa-Trance means and what this CD is all about.

There's one track on Part:Second which I especially like to mention here: "Polar Valves", the last song. It's the only tune which reminds most on Lightflow, as it's in a more ambient style. It's not so slow and dreamy like the songs on Lightflow. It contains some really big beats, but also some wonderful trance-alike parts. It really builds up a great atmosphere. My favourite tune on Part:Second.
