Do you know Carrier Command? It's one of the most addictive 3D war simulation games ever created. Your mission is to conquer various isles with the help of a hovercraft or an aircraft. When it was released in 1988, it featured an amazing vector graphics engine, which made everyone totally excited. Carrier Command was developed by Realtime Games and it has received many awards in the press.
Two years later Realtime Games released Battle Command. It was the followup to Carrier Command and the biggest change to it is, that you're sitting in a highly advanced tank now. Battle Command is not as thrilling as Carrier Command was, but is still a game which is worth playing and the 3D graphics are looking impressive, too.
Today Realtime Games doesn't exist any longer. They're now part of Cross Products, a company which is lead by Ian Oliver, the main developer behind Carrier Command and Battle Command. Cross Products aren't specialised on making games, they're making serious software. Codescape is the name of their current product. CodeScape's design supports the complete project development cycle from hardware testing to firmware and software application development. CodeScape’s rich toolset provides dedicated hardware and software components for exploiting the on-chip debug capabilities of each processor. The software and hardware work together to provide a seamlessly integrated environment for all stages of embedded products development.
